Leicester is a city in the East Midlands of UK. Leicester mainly lies on the bank of River Soar. On the other hand, Leicester is very close to the eastern end of the National Forest. In 2011, the population of Leicester was 329,839. Leicester is located on the point where two major railway lines, the north/south Midland Main Line and the east/west Birmingham.

History:

Although companies like Liberty Shoes, Corah and Equity Shoes have closed another's companies like Next and Bodan are still there in the city.
