What is MOP® Foundation Training?

This Management of Portfolios (MoP®) Foundation Certification course provides senior decision makers and managers with a knowledge overview of Portfolio management concerning the best practice techniques, approaches, and strategic change principles. Undertaking this training course will enhance a candidate’s awareness of how to successfully deliver a punctual, quality abundant, and cost-effective project, through optimising communication channels between senior management staff. This Portfolio Certification demonstrates that an individual possesses a significant understanding of the practices that are conducted in a Portfolio office by managers and team contributors, and the various Portfolio approaches that have differing consequences. MoP® training is based upon guidance from the Cabinet Office (HM Government, UK) and instills a framework in which to adhere to regarding supporting and enabling Portfolio Management changes - hence this course is beneficial for businesses to improve their strategic business change practices and financial stability of investments.

This MoP® Certification will educate candidates on how to implement Portfolio change within their respective Portfolio Management role - after strict and stringent planning proposals have been conducted - justifying investments and answering strategic objectives.

Is there any pre-course reading?

Due to the intensive nature of the MoP® Foundation Certification, individuals are required to conduct approximately 15 hours of pre-course reading and studying prior to the course, which will be sent to candidates prior to the course in order to gain a founding understanding of course concepts
